Benefits of Ag-Pipe
  • Range of pipe fittings available – With a complete range of pipe fittings available, Ag Pipe is versatile for any ground water drainage project.
  • RMS approved Filter sock
  • Available in two resins – The range is available in two resins:
    • HDPE SN8 Ag Pipe – Ideal for general drainage applications such as sporting fields, parks, and gardens
    • PVC SN20 Ag-Pipe – Ideal for heavy duty applications such as roads and civil engineering projects, as well as areas used by heavy vehicular traffic.
  • Available in Solid, Slotted, and Unslotted with Filter sock:
    • Solid – Perfect for moving storm water/wastewater when drawing water away from the surrounding soil is not required
    • Slotted – Slots allow water to enter the pipe. Perfect to drain away excess ground water and possibly surface water into a storm water line, wastewater line or pit.
    • Unslotted with Filter sock – Sock prevents unwanted sediment entering the pipe that cause blockages in the line. Slotted Ag-Pipe is within the sock.
  • Quality Assurance – Corrugated Ag Pipe is manufactured to stringent specifications. A pipe stiffness test is carried out as part of compliance to AS2439-1-2007, and in accordance with AS/NZS1462.22, which tests the stiffness capabilities of the pipe. Pipe samples are placed within an Instron Impact / Compression Testing Unit and data is entered based on the pipe’s wall thickness and weight. A series of deflection tests are then carried out to give a final reading on the stiffness of the pipe
